Stuck on "The station is attempting to connect to localhost" on 8 of 20 dell Wyse stations. The severs are centrally managed and everything is configured the same. The first ten or so have no complications, I assign five clients per one server. I have four servers. 2 of the servers have this issue.
Is there any certified anti-virus software for Multipoint server 2012?

Hi, I have used Windows Server 2012 Hyper-v environment to create a Lab for Multipoint Server, but I am encounter a problem on VDI operation about Hyper-v check.

I have a lab with 9 stations all assigned to WMS 2012 through network. So I am using two machines, and have all stations running from one WMS VM. They are all logged in as users. Once I assign these zero clients to another WMS server, it creates a station but the station in the previous server was still up and running, not even suspended at all.
Have you seen this weird behavior before? I am not even sure what is that station running off of; they come back after station log off, but disappear after a restart of the VM. Is there any setting that dictates the same user cannot login within the two servers? I know we can set it up each server, but I am not sure if currently we have a setting for multiple servers.

I was trying to make a virtual desktop station on WMS 2012. First, I created a template up to the point where I was able to create a station for each workstation. But when I restarted the server, the screen says:
"Waiting for lenovo-1 to start
Not enough memory in the system to start the virtual machine lenovo-1 with ram size 2392 megabytes. (Virtual machine ID 070543F3-3716-4AOA-B178-28DOF869FF37)"
Can someone help me?
Using MPS 2012 it installed some updates last night and now it's stuck in single user maintenance mode, i've gone to MPS Manager and tried to switch to workstations, but it reboots back into the same mode. It also auto logs in as "WmsShell"
Any ideas on getting back to where I should be? Thanks!

I've setup a Multipoint 2012 test environment with 4 stations. I have enabled the desktop virtualization option and have created a Win7 template and deployed the 4 Win7 virtual desktops off that template. I can connect to each VM individually from each station.
My question is that if I add 2 more stations, will WMS 2012 automatically detect these as new stations and create more instances of the Win7 virtual desktop from template ?. It didn't for me. When I tried clicking on the create virtual desktop it created fresh VM's from the template for all 6 stations. Is there are way that WMS 2012 would only create the additional 2 station VM's instead of all 6 ?

We face an issue with server 2008 R2, Server rebooted automatically 2 or 3 times per day.
and we receive an warning alert in Event Log: WHEA-Logger Event ID 19
"A corrected hardware error has occurred.

This is a Physical server : Hewlett-Packard ProLiant DL580 G7OS
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2,
I have spoke to HP Support about this issue, and the Tech and I are trying a list of things that hopefully will remedy the issue.
Things that we have tried:
Updating; Firmware, BIOS, Service Pack's
still we face same issue so they suggested me to download the Hotfix for that they provide the below link

i download this Hotfix and install in server and restarted. But issue is not resolved
The server runs fine,but just throws these errors accross the board.
Its a little weird that this error still occurs daily every 2 minutes above alert.
If anyone might have any suggestions, or route's you may want me to take, please let me know.

I have the following setup:
Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 Premium connected to domain controller Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition (running active directory).
On WMS 2012 I installed vSpace Server software v. 7.1.3
When I want to login in AD from nComputing station L300 this message comes up: "Requested Session Access is Denied"
I followed this guide http://www.ncomputing.com/kb/NComputing-vSpace-Server-Console-Guide_312.html but no success.
First error message when i tried to connect to AD was this: "To log on to this remote computer, you must be granted the Allow log on.." but I was able to fix it the following way http://www.ncomputing.com/kb/To-log-on-to-this-remote-computer-you-must-be-granted-the-Allow-log-on_243.html.
My goal is restricting of users through GPO.

I have a huge 120'' touch screen, and I want to install multipoint server on it so I can split it into two separate screens.
the screen connects to the PC by only a USB cable
I know that multipoint server works with touch screens and can connect them a single PC with other screens,
My question is will the split screen option work on a multi toucch screen so two people can work on the touch screen at the same time?

I've got a lab with 5 HP MS6200's running MultiPoint Server 2012 on them. There are numerous issues but one that bothers me now is when I student logs on the machine station they can hear audio from all other stations. Also, there are times when the audio does not work until the teacher - in her words - "monkeys around" with the audio mixer and/or goes to task manager. Once class period one of the HP T200s I have hooked up will work fine, the next no. Sometimes the same student will have an issue one day and not the next.
This all started a few months ago. I've tried re-mapping the stations with no luck. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to wipe them to see if it clears the problem. HP doesn't support MultiPoint server 2012 on the MS6200 and they struggled with MultiPoint Server 2011 so downloading a driver from them won't work. Does anyone have any idea on what's going on? Do I need to add a T200 station so no one has access to the station with the MS6200 directly attached to it?

I evaluate MPS2012 in our test environment in which we don't have connection to Internet.
I understand that the change on the system drive is reset When system drive protection is effective.
But I would like to except both Virus pattern files and Windows update from this protection.
Can these update avoid resetting in MPS2012 ?
