I've been running Multipoint Server since the 2011 version. Currently I have two servers on Server 2016. Both machines have a cron job that reboots the machine in the middle of the night. This has worked flawlessly for years.
In the last couple of weeks each morning one of the servers has a problem. It tends to alternate between the servers, but one day both were down. I see two different symptoms:
1. It doesn't recognize the graphics card
2. All of the stations are connected (green) on the network stations tab, but there are no stations listed in the Stations tab for the server that is having a problem that day.
Rebooting the problem server fixes the problem, but I don't want to have to come to work 15 minutes early every day to reboot a server.
I assume this is caused by some Windows Update recently. Is Microsoft working on this? Does anyone have a solution?
