Zero Client trial Waiting for the Assigned Host

I've setup a trial MultiPoint 2012 server in Hyper-V using the trial license key noted in the trial download instructions. I installed the additional drivers which will allow Zero Clients (using ThinGlobal MultiPoint Ethernet) to connect to the MultiPoint server, installed the required Windows Update to support additional clients, and once installed and rebooted a few times the MultiPoint Manager displays the Network Stations tab.

Using Network Stations I scanned for clients and the test Zero Client was displayed, I assigned that to the MultiPoint server and it shows in the Assigned Client list at the bottom of the screen, but with a Status of Not Connected. On the Thin Client's screen it shows "Waiting for Assigned Host", whereas I was expecting it to show the Windows MultiPoint client login screen (never used this before so not sure).

I've created Users, made sure the server has up-to-date patches, and even re-installed the server from scratch but has made no difference. The MultiPoint server is definitely in Station Mode and no errors are appearing in the Event Logs. The server though is only licensed with the Trial server license, but under the Home tab it shows there are no client licenses. Am I not able to connect clients just with the trial server license, not much of a worthwhile trial if that is the case?

Thanks
