Multipoint vs standard windows server 2012 for small company terminal server

I was initially looking to go with Windows Server 2012 Essentials to run as terminal server for about 25 thin clients. After talking to a microsoft licensing person on the phone, we were told we need to just buy the Remote Desktop User CALS (as server CAL is included for 25 users, the limit of essentials). So we bought the licenses before the price increases Dec 1, and I am doing the setup now. Thing is, it looks like Windows Server 2012 Essentials does not support running as a Remote Desktop session host.

In trying to look at what my options are, I came across info on the Multipoint version of Windows Server. I am a bit confused though as to how this compares to running full Windows Server 2012 Standard.

We are a small company running about 25 users on a windows 2003 server. All I really need is the ability for users to connect to a remote desktop via RDP from their thin clients/older PC's.  Trying to do this in the most cost effective way. Is Multipoint server 2012 what I should be looking at? Is there a chart somewhere of what is missing/limited in multipoint server compared to essentials or standard?
